Practice

Swimmers who need assistance with Starts and turns will be able to practice after school next week.  These practices will be limited to those who are really struggling.  This is not a time to perfect your skills.  Practice will be on an invitation only bases and limited to around 15 students.  Students invited to practice after school will be contacted via email by Friday of the week before.  Practice will be M-Th from 4:00 - 5:30.  Swimmers must report directly to the natatorium following dismissal.

Dressing Out 

Students must bring their:  Black Team Swim Suit, Googles, Towel, Swim Caps optional

Students are being graded on dressing out.  Failure to bring all of these items is a - 30%

Mondays

6th, 7th, and 8th graders are not going to be swimming on Mondays.  However, they MUST bring plain black shorts or Pershing PE shorts and a solid (Any Color) t-shirt.  This is a privilege for swimmers.  Other PE kids must wear a Pershing PE Shirt or solid grey shirt.

Lockers

We still do not have lockers for our swimmers.  However, Pershing is offering a students a chance to rent small lockers in the Boy's and Girl's locker rooms for 25$ for the rest of the year.  Swimmers will not be able to hang suits as they will not have space to dry.  I would recommend swimmers getting these and storing two swim suits in a large gallon zip lock bag.  They should also keep two pairs of swim goggles and a micro fiber towel.  This will allow them to bring and drop them off on Mondays and bring home the wet suit after practice.  It isn't what I want for them but it's all we have.  

Volunteering

Please, email me if you are interested in volunteering.  There are several ways you can help.  I need help at meets, fundraising, organizing the "FUN MEET", and the year end field trip.

Swim Dues

I can't order the team T-Shirts, Hoodies, and Swim Caps until I have the funds available in my account.  Please, submit payment of team dues via www.schoolpay.com or contact me if you need assistance with the dues.  All swimmers will receive all items.
