SWAG: I am hoping for the order of tshirts, hoodies, and swim camps to come in before the Thanksgiving holiday, however, they are telling me back logs and limited stock is a problem.  TShirts and Hoodies may be just after Thanksgiving.  Swim Caps should be before Thanksgiving.

Pool: Our pool is heated.  Our temperature is steady at or about 80 degrees.  We will swim every T, W, Th, and F.  

Uniform: Students are required to wear solid black team style suits, and goggles, Swim Caps of any kind are optional.  Students are encouraged to express their individuality with different Swim Cap Designs. Because we may not swim on a given day do to my absence or the pool being out of order, students must be prepared to attend regular PE on every swim day.  Therefore, they must bring both swim gear and PE gear to school on swim days.  

PE Gear: For PE swimmers must wear black shorts but may wear any colored solid tshirt.  Small logo is ok but no graphics.

Swim Season: Our season kicks off the Monday we return from Thanksgiving Holiday. 

Monday Practice (7/8): will be for 8th Period students and will be a continuation of their class.  Practice will conclude at 5:00 PM

Tuesday Practice (7/8): will be for 4th Period students and will be a continuation of their class.  Practice will conclude at 5:00 PM 

Practice Meet (6,7,8): The first Wednesday after Thanksgiving Holiday, Dec 1.  All 6th, 7th and 8th graders are invited.  Parents are not allowed at this meet.  The meet is designed for lots of stops to explain rules and procedures.  Students are to go directly to the natatorium once school is out and will begin at 4:15.  The meet will run until 6:00.

Meet Schedule: Meets are held every Wednesday after the Practice Meet and before the HISD Championships.  Warm-ups begin at 5:30 and the meet starts at 6:00.  Please make a habit of checking our Aquatics Website to see our full schedule.  www.waterpandas.swimtopia.com

HISD Swim Championships: Championships will be Feb 8th.  Please, mark your calendars.  We will need every student that is selected to compete.  Note: every student swim every meet.  The district championships are limited swimmers will compete only if selected.  We can only swim 4 students per event.  We may not have a space for all swimmers.

Lost and Found: I have one boys black swim suit, one girls black swim suit, two water bottles and one pair of goggles.  If your child is missing any of these items have them reach out.  I have announced these items several times but so far nobody has claimed them.
