Swim Parents,

Coach Out - I will miss school Wednesday and Thursday.  I was selected for jury duty.  

Swim Meet - I will be at the meet Wednesday although I might be there closer to 6:00.  It wont be a problem as my assistant coaches, Coach Puertas and Coach Moore will be there for the kids at 5:00.  Please make sure they are there at 5:00 PM.  Transportation to Lamar HS will not be provided for this meet.  Ensure your athlete has solid black swim suit, quality goggles, team swim cap, towel, team hoodie, and slides/water bottle if they would like.

PE Classes - Students will meet in the small gym and bring shorts and shirts to change into.  If you have Pershing PE gear that is great, if not just bring solid colored shorts and tshirts.

Team Photos - We have to postpone the team and individual photos at this time.  I will notify you when they are rescheduled.

Swim Videos - Please, take some time to ensure your child knows where the swim videos are located on the team page.  www.waterpandas.swimtopia.com They can be found under resources and are an excellent way for your athlete to learn proper technique.  They can really help a swimmer that is struggling with a technique.  I have selected these powerful videos from a hundreds of swimming videos.  They are excellent.
