Swim Parents,

Good morning 

As you probably know by now we are moving to a 7 period school day next year across HISD.  As a result, I regret to inform you that we most likely will not have a 7/8 grade swim class next school year.  This saddens me as most of our athletes need work on stroke development, flip turns, and starts and because we have worked so hard to build the program through hard work and the generous donations of parents.  

I strongly encourage Pershing Swimmers to sign up for summer swim leagues.  I have posted several options on the team page.  Reach out to me if you need help finding a team.  Swimmers are also encouraged to sign up for year-round swimming.  Several options on the team page and I am happy to assist with this as well.

As a result I will not be holding tryouts for next years 7th and 8th graders.  Instead tryouts will be held next school year in November. Just before the season.
