Good day :)

I hope everyone had a great vacation! Now it's time to get back to work.

7th/8th Grade Swim Practice - We are starting swim practice for 7th/8th Graders on Monday. Remember if you have class Monday you are not to go.  You would go on Tuesday.  If you have class Tuesday you are expected to go to practice on Monday. 

7th/8th Grade Swim Practice Exceptions - If you have a conflict you may attend the other practice.  If it is once or the whole season.  Just let me know.  Also, if you are a year-round swimmer, (5 or more days outside of school during the season), you are not required to attend after school practice.

6th/7th/8th Grade Practice Meet - This Wednesday 11/30 from 4:00 - 6:00 is our annual practice meet. This is an event that shows kids what a meet will look like. I will post a heat sheet with Events, Heats, and lane assignments for you! It will be posted to the Practice Meet on the www.waterpandas.swimtopia.com website. It will be attached to the calendar event.

7th and 8th graders will swim 50FS, 50BK, 50BR, 50FLY. Because this is really a practice this is a closed event. Parents will not be allowed to watch. However, this is the only closed event.

Practice Meet Social - After the practice meet we will have pizze and gatorade in the courtyard from 6:00 - 7:00. Please, plan to pick up your athlete by 7:00. You are welcome to come and hang out with us at 6:00.

Meets - All our meets after this are on Wednesday from 5:00 - 8:00.  5:00 be there, 5:30 Warm-Up, 6:00 Start.  I work hard to keep it consistant.  Please, check out the schedule to see the location of the meets.

Last Years SWAG - I still have several Youth Large and Adult small t-shirts from last year. If you would like one have your child bring $10 for the shirt. I have one small hoodie from last year if you would like to purchase it for $30. All proceeds will go to the team social.

Help Wanted - I will need a parent to help me pick up pizza for the social after the Practice Meet. If you are available please email me.

www.waterpanda.swimtopia.com - Please, make sure you and your athlete log on to the site and check for updates weekly. Make sure your child has the password you set up so they can see the calendar, have access to their heat sheets, and can read the news I post. I wont post anything they shouldn't see.
