Swim Parents,

Looking forward to the meet tomorrow.  It should be a lot of fun.  I just finished setting the teams.  They look really balanced.  It should be really fun! 

If there is any reason that you can't make the meet, please, make sure to email me and let me know.  I can try to rebalance if needed.

After School: If you would like your child to be supervised after school ensure they go to the natatorium at 4:00 PM.  We will have a classroom set up to take kids from 4:00 - 5:30 that will be supervised by Coach Puertas.  If you prefer for your child to walk to Star Bucks or CVS that is your descression.  You can also pick them up for a quick snack.  

5:30: Please, make sure your athlete is back at the pool no later than 5:30.  If they come late they will miss their team assignments and you will really stress me out!

6:00: Start Time.  We need to start early to get all our events in before the meet is over.

7:30: End of meet beginning of Pizza Party.  We will have Pizza and gatorade.  It will be dark at 7:30 so we will have pizza in the cafeteria.  You are free to grab a piece of pie and leave if you need to or stay and hang out with the team.

Uniform: Please, have swimmers bring suit, goggles, cap, and towel. Water bottle, shower shoes, and towel recommended.  

Team Coaches: My Pershing graduates appear busy and have not responoded to my request.  I may need a few parents to help with a team.  Please, email me if you can help.  Really easy.  All you need to do is make sure that ALL kids get to swim and are not left out.  The kids are divided into teams of 14 or 15... if they all show up.  Most relays are set for 8 kids.  Each kid should swim about half the events.  If they aren't comfortable don't make them but encourage them to pick events they would like to swim.
