Swim Parents,

I hope everyone is having a great summer.  Unfortunately or fortunately it is winding down and we have to prepare for the 23-24 school year.

There are a few actions you must complete before your child is ready to get in the pool.  I have listed them below.  I plan to have the kids in the water the first week of school.  However, if these items are not complete your athlete will have to sit out while the others swim.  HISD will not allow me to have kids in the pool unless these steps are complete.

Required for next year:

• Register at www.waterpandas.swimtopia.com ASAP. This is how I send emails. If you don't register you don't get the emails. (Please, do this as soon as possible).
• Physical must be no earlier than May 15, 2023 and no later than Aug 22, 2023.  
  • Note: BellaireER not longer does free physicals for Pershing MS athletes.
• Register My Athlete www.registermyathlete.com - Must be completed by Aug 22, 2023.

Other items that need to be completed:

• Team Dues $50 payable through www.schoolpay.com (This should be open today.)
• Make sure you have at least two solid black, swim suits by Aug 22. They must be "Team Suits". If you are uncertain about the suit please email me at [email protected]. Below I've listed samples. I didn't shop or look for sales. These are simply to give you an idea of the item.
  • Jammers for the boys - Sample
  • Team style suit for the girls - Sample
• Make sure you have at least two competition goggles by Aug 22. If uncertain about the type of goggles email me. - Sample
• Swim Cap (if the athletes hair will get in their eyes). - Sample (I encourage them to have fun with this. Show some personality. If they swim for a summer league team or year round they are welcome to wear those caps.
