Good morning. We have an active parent organizing a fun opportunity for the kids if they are up to the challenge. He asked if I would forward this to you. So here it is. 

The weather forecast is for mid 60's this Saturday.

Calling all kids and parents. The Murphys are hosting a weekly, weekend Triathlon of

Running, Swimming, Zip line and Pancakes. RSZP. It starts at 8.00 AM on non school days at the RR tracks and S. Braeswood. There is a gravel parking lot under a huge electric pylon. We will run/walk to Buffalo Speedway and back which is about 5K. There is an exercise and water station about halfway at Lookout Court. Its all on the Brays Bayou hike trail so traffic is not a problem. There is plenty of parking in gravel lot under the powerlines just east of RR at 4155 S. Braeswood. Swimming in my pool afterwards if you like (bring a towel). Then pancaking No merit badges will be awarded. But Brownie Points may be added to the pancakes. DATES; 0. Saturday, Nov. 4 at 8.00 AM. 1. Friday November 10. An HISD holiday, and same day for Bike packing. 2. Saturday, Nov. 18. Prior to T-day week. 3. Weds Nov. 22. T-Day eve. 4. Sat. Nov. 25. T-Day recovery. 5, 6, & 7. Then the first three Saturdays in December, 2, 9. & 16. Parents are encouraged to participate and/or help with crowd control. You can bike if you don't feel like running. THIS IS NOT A BSA event so no woggles and buck knives please. Bring swim togs and a towel if you fancy a swim afterwards. We will be all done by 10.00 AM. Bernard Murphy 281 628 6009
