Swim Parents,

No meet tomorrow - there was some confusion with the schedule it shouldn’t have be posted on PTO Calendar. 
Speeding Tickets - I’m working to get theses out. Will have them this week and court will be the next week. 
12/6 Practice Meet at Pershing Natatorium from 4:00 - 6:00.
In the past I have made this event closed. We are just going over the basics of a meet and the space is very small. We often don’t get through the whole meet. However, if you would like to attend you are welcome. In this meet we only swim 50’s of the four strokes.  

Practice is for 7th/8th grade only.  Practice begins on Jan 8 and runs through the season. Practice is offered Monday and Tuesday from 4:00-5:00. 
Year round swimmers are not required to attend. Sixth graders can not attend. 7/8 graders attending come to practice on the day they don’t swim in class. If you have a conflict and can’t come on their assigned time, they come on their class day. 
Swimtopia - Please check the website and the app for our schedule.  If your athlete has a cell phone please ensure they have it and can check the schedule, there times, and any messages.

Meets are every Wednesday in January the first Wednesday in February with the championship Saturday, Feb 17th.  The Fun Meet is February 28.

Please ensure your athlete has their swim gear every day.  We are in season and some students are forgetting their suits, goggles, swim caps.  My expectation is that all swimmers have two suits, two goggles, a swim cap if their hair gets in their eyes.  If swimmers come unprepared to class I will be taking points off their grade.  If they miss three days in a semester they will be required to come after school Wednesday to swim laps.
