Good morning. :)

Practice Meet - The practice meet was fantastic.  The kids knew the routine and quickly moved around the pool to their assigned event like pros.  I'm still looking through times but It appears no one missed their event!  The only downside was the amount of noise during the start of races. This is something we must work on.  On the positive side I was floored with the amount of time dropped from 95% of the swimmers.  I'm talking about and average of 2 full seconds per kid.  WOW!!!!

Speeding Tickets - I was over ambitious with the printing of these tickets.  That isn't going to happen.  For the reward the Pizza Party at lunch that will take place next Thursday in the courtyard.  I will send a list of all swimmers to the teachers so they can be released to the courtyard.  Whatever lunch they have they will go to that lunch in the courtyard.

Third Benchmark Times - I am using the times from the Practice Meet for the third Benchmark Times.  I will retime 4th and 8th period in class.  I am working on coverage for Coach Puertas for 2nd and 6th Periods.  If I can't arrange that I will post a date for after school times next week.   

Athlete Report Card - I will be sending home Athlete Report Cards for all class swimmers.  These report cards demonstrate drops in times with green stop watches.  So you can easily see if your athlete is making gains.  I am giving Report cards out today.  If you are dying to see them and your kid doesn't get one today I can send it to you via text.  

Winter Party - We will have a class party the last day before the winter break.  Students are welcome to bring treats and drinks to class that day.
