Swim Parents,

We have two last minute changes from HISD’s swimming leadership.

We were directed Thursday afternoon that we had to have a bus available to our team. This was after they asked coaches and every coach said they didn’t want a bus.  You are not required to take the bus. However, if you want to drive to Pershing drop off your athlete then get in the car and drive to Lamar, a bus will be provided.

They also decided to only provide each team two lanes to warm up. I can only imagine they were intimidated by our team’s professional approach to warm ups. LOL

How they expect over 160 athletes to fit behind the blocks, I have no idea.

Whatever challenges we face we will face them and succeed.  We have Amazing team of amazing athletes.  I couldn’t be prouder of them.
