Also, would love for you to join us at a Rice Baseball Game vs Tulane.  This event is open to the whole family.  You can even bring a non-swimming friend.  The event is on a Saturday and we will be able to have a Q&A with Rice athletes from various sports at 1:00 before the 2:00 game.  If you haven't been to a Rice Baseball game there is a great field for the kids to run and play during the game.  I am attaching the letter that was sent last week.

Hi swim team parents,

We have another fun team social coming up, and this is another one for the whole family! On Saturday, March 23, at 2 p.m. we'll watch the Rice Owls baseball team play Tulane. The game will take place at Reckling Park on the Rice campus. And before the game, starting at 1 p.m., our Pershing group will have a special opportunity to talk to some Rice student-athletes from a variety of sports about college life and what it's like to participate in sports at the university level.

For the game itself, we need to order the tickets by March 14 so that the Rice Athletics Department can make sure that all our seats are together.

Tickets are $10 per person. This is not a drop off event, so every Pershing student who attends will need to have a responsible adult there as well. You can choose to be responsible for your child's swim team friend, but you will need to work that out with other parents in advance. Since this is a public event on a university campus, we want to make sure that all Pershing kids are supervised and safe! Siblings and other family members are welcome. Everyone over the age of 2 years old will need a ticket.

We understand that your family may have plans, this is not a mandatory event. If you would like to attend, please let Coach Snook know how many people from your family will be there. Then please send $10 per person to me over Venmo (same as the other swim team event: @Jennifer-Rozelle-4 and last four digits of my phone number are 5767). We look forward to seeing your family at Rice on March 23!
