Swim Parents,

I am attaching my Swim Tryout flier to this message.  I'm trying to get this information out to all the feeder elementary schools.  If you have a contact at a feeder elementary, please forward this flier for publication on their website.  If your contact can put them in their folders I will print as many copies as they need.

If you know any incoming students or current 7th and 8th graders interested in trying out, please pass the information on.  

Last year I had cuts for this years team.  I have decided to keep all students I have this year.  However, this will mean that some students may only swim one event at our meets next season.  This year the district decided to restrict all meets to only four swimmers per event.  Unfortunately, this means that I don't have enough spots for all swimmers to swim two individual events.  I would just like to let you know in advance.

We will have 59 students returning and I only have space for two classes for the swim team.  As a result I will have to place 9 students in the 6th grade swim class.  Each year I loose a couple of kids but I normally gain a few two so this number should be pretty close.

If your athlete is struggling to keep up in the class, please consider outside lessons and summer league swimming.  Please, reach out to me if you are interested in finding a fit for outside training.
