Swim Parents,

We are currently having two fundraisers and I need your help.

Family Bingo Night:  This is a big fundraiser for the PTO.  They have always been very helpful with not only the swim team but all Pershing sports, teachers, and various other projects.  Please, plan to participate in bingo night this Friday.  (Flier attached)

I still need parent helpers to do a shift selling drinks at the event.  I will have several kids helping with our station but need parents to handle the cash.

Thank you Pershing PTO for coordination with Church's Chicken to donate water and lemonade.  If you don't mind we could use donations of a 12 pack of Gatorade or soda.  We are all set with water. If you can donate please drop off drinks to the male coaches office or have your athlete drop off in the morning before school.  You are also welcome to drop off during my swimming class.  We are doing Quidditch now so I will either be in the pool or the small gym each day from 10:00 - 11:30 and 2:30 - 4:00.  Ask your athlete about quidditch.  They are really getting into it!

Vertical Raise:  We have already raised $9,908.00, so I'm really hoping we hit our mark $16,000.  The boy's have raised $6,391 of their $8,000 goal.  The girls have raised $3,517 of their $8,000 goal.  I appreciate all the effort that you have put into helping the team raise funds. 

The main thing is to send 20 emails to friends and family.  We still have about 1/3 of our team that haven't gotten this done yet.  If we did I have no doubt that we would be able to hit our mark.  It will takes all of us to pull this off.  I was able to send 20 emails and as a result, I have had members of my parents, family, and friends all support the team.
