Swim Parents,

F45: Today we had our first F45 workout.  The kids did great but I bet they will be sore tomorrow and the next day.  

The next workout is tomorrow during 6th period.  Make sure the kids have PE Clothes and a water bottle.  

Thursday will be 4th period and Friday will be 8th Period.

F45 has workouts available for kids this summer.  I have attached a flier to this email.

Boy's Lunch: The boys met their goal of fundraiser sales.  They will have lunch provided this Friday.  I will have a table set up so when they come in they just need to stop by the table to get their food.  Canes three piece meal and a soda or water will be provided.

A/C: HISD came by today and began installing A/C for the pool and big gym.  They are supposed to install a brand new A/C unit for the pool this summer.  I have my hopes up but we will see.  As a result the boys will need to go directly to the locker room to change and then back around to the courtyard door to enter the pool.  The door from the boy's locker room to the gym has been blocked for the A/C unit.

Swim Social:  I haven't finalized with the park yet but would like to do a social after school Wednesday May 15th.  The kids have been asking.  I will provide the drinks.  Social will be from 4:00 - 6:00.

EOY Party:  The End of Year Party will likely be held at Splat Zone.  Splat Zone is a paintball venue.  They have regular paintball, think possible bruising and gel paintball, think soft and no bruise.  The event will be all inclusive of equipment and paint balls.  I believe I will be able to cover the cost.  It will be an overnight held Friday, May 24th from 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM.  I am finalizing details but want to get you the date.  The kids voted heavily on this over night paintball event.  We will need at least 8 adult chaperones but every adult chaperone is welcome.  I will send another message with all the details once finalized.

Lockers: We will be getting the lockers this year.  Hopefully, before school is out.  I expect we can have them in before school starts next year.

HELP NEEDED: The cost of the lockers is 9K the cost to have them put together and installed is 3K.  I can't assemble them and install them on my own.  HISD is a long shot to get it done.  If we have some parents who can help with the install we can put the 3K into other projects.  If you could help assemble and install or know someone you can send in your place, please, respond to this email.
