Swim Parents,

Here is all the news that’s fit. 😀

Swim Class: We will be swimming the rest of the year.  Athletes are still responsible for bringing their gym clothes in case the pool is down or I’m not there.

Tryouts: I’m holding tryouts Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  We have had a smaller than expected turnout this year.  The pool was left off the magnet tour visits and Dr. Shetzer always helped me get the word out in the past.  I’m trying to get the word out to incoming 6th graders. If you have any ideas I would appreciate you sharing them.

Last Swim Social: this Wednesday we will have our last swim social at Evelyn Park, from 4:00 - 6:00. I will bring the drinks. 

EOY Party: We plan to have it at Splat Zone, an indoor paint ball place. I will send more info soon. Arrive at 10:00 PM Depart 6:00 AM. Parent Chaperones always welcome. 
Physicals: MUST be dated no earlier than May 15. If you plan to have the physical done at school May 22 please ensure you have the Medical History portion complete and ensure your child has it with them for the physical.

Course Selection: There is no choice for you to select swim. The only way you can get in is by me placing you in. All swimmers this year will be placed in one of my four classes.

A/C: We are excited to have A/C for the rest of the year. We hope to have a new unit installed this summer. The problem with it is the boys have to walk around the outside.
