Swim Parents,

I have been hearing about a possible walk-Out this Friday.  I want to share this with you.

1. There was a walkout at Westside/Westbriar on Wednesday.  
2. This was organized by parents and chaperoned by parents they marched together to the local elementary school and middle school where they spoke with the press. 
3. They did this to protest the firing of a well liked principal at a successful school.
4. My advice to you is do whatever you want.  I'm neither for or against it.  
5. But from what I know their walk-out was organized ours is not.  I don't know of parents walking with our group or a destination.  
6. I spoke with one boy in my swim class he is walking out and him and a friend are walking to the friends house with both parents consent. 

My advice is that if you choose to have your child participate, talk with them in advance and have a plan so they are safe.  I know that a lot of knuckle heads will participate as an excuse to act crazy.  CVS and the mall that has Starbucks will be crowded and crazy.  I would advise another end point.
