Swim Parents,

We are almost there!!!  As one year closes another begins. Here is what you need to do to be ready.

SwimTopia - Our current season is closing.  Registration is not open for 24-25.  Please, complete the registration process today or tomorrow.  All of you will be in the system.  Therefore, it should go quickly.  I believe it will have most of your information.

Here is what you need to do:

1) Register today or tomorrow - This is my last email of this year.

2) Go to www.waterpandas.swimtopia.com and click the red REGISTER NOW button.

3) Complete the registration.  

4) Make sure you add a phone number and email for each guardian.

5) New this year - Athletes must have an email.  They can use the HISD email or private email.  In the past the system would only send to parents or athletes.  Now it will send to both.  I'll never post anything I wouldn't want the athletes to see.

Register My Athlete - Athletes must have this completed before the first day of school.  We will begin swimming the second day of school.  Please, don't put this off and have to rush it.  Athletes may not swim until this is completed.

Here is what you need to do:

1) Log onto the RMA website, www.registermyathlete.com

2) Complete the required forms

3) Ensure you check every sport you MAY want to tryout for.  Don't worry if you later choose not to.  It is way easier for us to remove an athlete than for an athlete to be added later.

4) If you have information in the RMA system from this year it will auto populate.  This should speed it up.

5) If you don't complete RMA it will save your progress and you can start again later.

6) Please, don't put this off.  Please, begin this today or tomorrow if possible.

Physicals - Students will not be allowed to swim unless they have submitted a physical on the current HISD form.

Here is what you need to do:

1) Ensure the physical is dated no earlier than May 15th 2024.  If earlier the physical will not be accepted. 

2) The physical must be on the current HISD form.  Attached to this email.

3) Ensure you have an electronic copy to upload to RMA.

4) Make sure you have a copy of the Medical History portion filled out before the physical so you may show the doctor.

5) On Point Urgent Care at 3905 Richmond offers free physicals as long as a parent or guardian gives a google review at the time of the physical. They must have a student ID as well.
