Hi swim parents, 

We're still having our swim team social this Thursday, Oct. 24, 4-6 p.m., at Evelyn's Park! We've probably all heard by now that Dr. Goldman has been put on administrative leave, and the school is holding a meet and greet with our interim principal at 5:30 p.m. that evening. I'll be leaving at 5:15 to attend the meet and greet, and of course you are also welcome to leave with your kids at that time if you are going to meet the interim principal. If you are not going to the meet and great and your kids prefer to stay for the full swim social, Coach Snook has said that he is planning to stay at the park until 6 p.m. We're looking forward to seeing your kids on Thursday!
As always, remember that parents and siblings are welcome, but please don't invite Pershing students who aren't swim team members. We like for this to be a chance for the swimmers to hang out and get to know their teammates. Thank you! And a big thanks to the parents who have signed up to bring drinks and snacks!
