Swim Parents,

I will be back to school tomorrow and am looking forward to seeing the team. This is our last week before our season starts in full.

www.waterpandas.swimtopia.com - If you have any questions the first place to look is our team website. It has the calendar for the season with dates, times, and other important details. It also has a list of every email I've sent if click the red tab at the top right of the news section you can access all emails I've sent for the past four years. The best part is it is available 24/7.

Swim Practice - 

1. Only 7th/8th graders may attend practice.
2. 6th grade can't attend based on UIL Rules.
3. Practice is mandatory. (Athletes will sign in every practice)
   1. If an athlete has a conflict they may attend the other practice. (M/T)
   2. If athlete can't attend either practice the parent must send an email.
   3. Year Round swimmers who swim 4 or more days out of school are exempt with and email from parents stating the days they practice.
4. Practice is from 4:00 - 5:30 Monday and Tuesday at the Pershing Natatorium.
5. Please pick up athletes by 5:30.

Practice Meet 12/11 (Wednesday)

1. 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will compete in the Practice Meet.
2. Parents are not allowed at the Practice Meet.(First meet and kids are nervous)
3. Athletes must go immediately to the natatorium at 4:00 to change.
4. Staggered Warm-ups from 4:10 - 4:30.  (They won't all fit.)
5. Meet starts at 4:30 and ends at 6:00.
6. Pizza and drinks to follow in the courtyard. (6:00-6:30)

Inter-Squad Meet 12/18 (Wednesday)

1. 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will compete in the Inter-Squad Meet.
2. Parents are encouraged to attend the Inter-Squad Meet.
3. Athletes must be at the natatorium NO LATER THAN 5:00 to change.
   1. This will be the same for all meets moving forward.  
4. Staggered Warm-ups from 5:10 - 5:30. (They won't all fit.)
5. Meet starts at 6:00 and ends at 8:00.
6. Pizza and drinks to follow in the courtyard. (8:00-8:30)

Remaining UIL Meets: The remaining meets will be on every Wednesday in January and the first Wednesday in February.  

1. Please refer to the www.waterpandas.swimtopia.com for location and details.
2. All UIL meets are 6:00- 8:00.  
3. All UIL meets are for 7th and 8th grade only. (6th grade ineligible) 
4. Athletes must be at the natatorium NO LATER THAN 5:00 to change.
5. Warm-up will begin at 5:15 sharp.  (We will have room for all to warm-up together at HS 8 lane pools.
6. Please pick up athletes by 8:00.

Team Swag: We will be ordering T-Shirts and Jackets soon!  Hopefully we will have them by the winter break.

Team Fees: Fees will go to T-Shirts, Jackets, and the End of Season Party.  I hope to know the cost of fees by the end of the week.  Team fees are for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades as they will all receive swag and attend the End of Season Party.
