Swim Parents,

I hope everyone is staying warm and having fun in the snow. I sure am. :)

As I'm sure you are aware our meet scheduled for this Wednesday has been canceled.  This is terrible news as we already had a meet canceled.  I've been coaching swim for over ten years and have never had a meet canceled we have had two already! :(  

I talked with the coach of Rogers and we will make it up this Friday at Lamar.  I have our calendar below.  I will send another email shortly with all the information for the meet.  

I understand this is a last minute change to our schedule. I wouldn't do it, but I want to offer another meet 3 just isn't enough.  I understand that some of you may not be able to attend, however, I need you all to let me know by 4:00 tomorrow so we can set the meet.  Last week we had two last minute drops and it really hurt some of the athletes.  As a result we had to scratch two relays meaning six kids didn't get to swim a relay they were expecting.  Please, help me avoid this by letting me know your availability tonight or tomorrow so I can set the meet.

Wed 1/29 - Pershing V Lanier @ Bellaire HS 5:00 - 7:30

Mon 2/3 - Practice B Day Class

Tue 2/4 - Practice A Day Class

Wed 2/5 - Pershing V Black @ Lamar HS 5:00 - 7:30

We don't practice the week before Champs!

Sat 2/15 - HISD Swim Championships @ Lamar HS 

(Be there no later than 8:00 AM 

Remember we will come back to Pershing and have a Champs Social in the Small Gym (Pizza / Cake)

Wed 2/26 - Fun Meet @ Pershing 5:00 - 8:00 

(Please, try to make The Fun Meet.  It's a lot of FUN!)
