Swim Parents,

What a remarkable season!  The kids were amazing.  Can you believe we haven't lost a meet in three year?  We also accomplished a threepeat of the HISD Swim Championships.  

NEXT WEEK - WEDNESDAY (Please respond with availability by noon Friday)

Fun Meet:  The last meet we have is an intersquad meet. It all fun relays.

Who:  This meet is open to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders

Where: Pershing Natatorium 

Date:  Wednesday, Feb 26th 

Time:  From 6:00 - 8:00.

Warm-Ups:  Be there no later than 5:00

After School:  I will have a safe supervised place for any swimmers from 4:00 - 5:00 just make sure they go directly to the pool after school.  If you choose the kids can walk to Starbucks or another place from 4:00 - 5:00 but they must come to the pool No Later Than 5:00. 

Uniform: I have five different swim caps.  I will provide them at 5:00.  Just wear your solid black team suit and a pair of goggles.

Events: This meet is composed of fun relays.  We will do:

50's of competitive strokes

Frank-N-Strokes

Dolphin Dives

Innertube Race

Dynamic Duo

Feet First Swim

And more.

I am asking some high school swimmers who swam with the team in the past to help me coach all the teams.  If your high schooler is interested please reach out.  I have to divide the WaterPandas into five equal teams.  This is no easy task.  Please, take a moment to let me know if your athlete will be able to make it.  When kids don't show after saying they will it really throws the teams off.
