In person athletes will continue to receive swimming instruction during the school day.

Doctors orders, I’m out Thursday. This was unforeseen. 5th period will meet in the gym and participate with regular PE kids. Wear something comfortable.

I will not be at school on 1/27.  There will not be practice or swim meet after school.  

1st Period will need to wear clothing for PE and report to the gym.

I literally just got off a video conference with HISD Swimming.  We are recommending an extension of our season to Feb 23rd for HISD Swimming Championships.  I will be scheduling meets this week and will let you know as soon as meets are scheduled.

Monday, Jan 25th will be practice in the Pershing Natatorium.  Practice will be from 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM.  Make sure to bring your Suit, goggles, and towel.  Swim caps optional.  Shower shoes recommended.

Any swimmers that have not turned in paperwork must still submit forms.  We may get the go ahead Jan 22nd for the swim season and swimmers who haven't submitted their athletic packet will not be allowed to compete or practice.

Swim Caps: are in.  Make sure to pick yours up.

Hoodies: have been ordered and are due to be in Jan 23.  If you would like your name printed on the chest just bring five dollars next week and it will be added.

Performance T's: Will be in early February.

It is with a heavy heart that I must tell you that HISD has suspended the 2021 swim season.  HISD will revisit this decision Jan 22 to determine if the season will continue or remain suspended.
